The "Technologies Empowering Community and Consumer Health" Lab, led by Dr. Peter Washington, is dedicated to using human-centered artificial intelligence to develop novel digital diagnostics, screening tools, therapeutics, and interventions for a wide range of health conditions. Our projects focus on both community and consumer digital health informatics: the design, deployment, and evaluation of digital tools with and within community settings, such as clinics, schools, public health departments, and nonprofit partners, and the use of data from smartphones, smartwatches, and other consumer health devices to derive actionable health insights.
